yesterday one of my college professors died
it's a strange feeling
being so removed from college
i only had robert for my last class at hampshire
he helped with my documentary
gave me some useful advice
but otherwise i didn't know him that well
i don't know how he died
he was scheduled to teach photography classes this spring
in the papers
they say he was a very kind gentle person
and dedicated professor
known for his probing intellect
and dedication to his students
